One of the premiere culinary scholarships in the country, the Stephan Pyles Culinary Scholarship honors renowned Texas chef, author and entrepreneur, Stephan Pyles. Recognized internationally as one of the founding fathers of Southwestern cuisine and recently named “Chef of the Year” by Esquire magazine, Pyles has lent his name and reputation to this prestigious $15,000 scholarship awarded annually to a rising culinary artist.
Scholarship applicants must be enrolled in culinary school. Winners are selected through a rigorous application process and cooking competition which takes place in different cities each spring.
