Larry Peel, Chairman & Founder
Larry Peel is an award-winning developer of visually appealing and environmentally sensitive multi-family and office properties in Austin, Houston and Dallas. His company, Larry Peel Builder/Developer was founded in 1976 and was the first developer awarded the City of Austin’s ‘Environmental Awareness’ award. In 1994, the National Council of the Multifamily Industry awarded Peel the Pillars of the Industry ‘Best Garden Apartments in the United States’ for his Hardrock Canyon project in Austin.

Peel a founder of the Texas Hill Country Wine & Food Festival and created the annual Rare & Fine Wine Auction in 1986. Last year the Auction raised more than $275,000. In 1997, he helped spearhead The Wine & Food Foundation of Texas, where he remains Chairman.

D. Kent Lance, Chairman & Past President
Kent Lance received a Business Administration degree from the University of Texas and went to work for the Trammell Crow Company upon graduation where he became one of the most successful leasing agents before leaving the firm in 1992 to co-found Hill Partners Inc. Kent serves as President for the Texas Cowboy Alumni Association and is past president of The Wine & Food Foundation of Texas. He has served as a co-committee chairman of the Rare & Fine Wine Auction for several years.

Michael Vilim, Chairman & President
Widely known and regarded as one of the top wine authorities in Texas, Vilim is the owner of Mirabelle restaurant in north Austin and Castle Hill Café near downtown. Vilim has more than 25 years experience in the wine and restaurant business. He past stints include serving as a General Manager at Brio and as Sommelier at the Four Seasons Hotel Austin. He is a native of San Antonio and graduate of Trinity University in Philosophy and Theatre.
